Yeah but what you're forgetting here is that you can trick the system. Your lucky days (where you get heads) are independent of when you'll bet more or when you bet less. So basically even though you're constantly losing, you're betting less on your losses than on your wins. And as long as you do this you can cheat the system and mitigate your losses. Basically do martingale. Of course you can get busted. With my strategy there is around .1 percentile of that happening. So pretty much every 1000th time you're gonna lose with martingale. Of course that time you can easily lose all your money. That's why it is important to give yourself a good glass sealing above which don't bet.

I would never ask a dealer for greater deck penetration or to deal faster. This would make it very obvious that I am a card counter because these are things only a card counter would request. Unless you are tipping substantially, a dealer is not any less likely to rat you out if they suspect you of card counting. Plus having more hands per hour increases the likelihood of mistakes and increases the bankroll variance. Even the tiniest of mistakes could cost more than any extra money you could make by having a dealer speed up.

Either you lose to yourself by hitting the 13 or you lose to the dealer by letting him bust. You have higher chance at winning if you stand and let dealer bust.

If they figure out you are counting it’s not going to matter at all if the dealer loves you. They’ll throw you out just as fast.

And then there’s me betting high when the true count is high only for the dealer to get 20s back to back while I get 17s-19s and lose hundreds. Counting cards doesn’t work. If the true count is high then the dealer is also going to get a lot more face cards as well. Just stay away from gambling

The reason martingale is so popular is you win more often than you lose. The problem is you win very small amounts and when you eventually lose you get wiped out.

This math only works if you freakin count cards. The "book" was written for people who count, nor for people who play recreational. I love how people at the table get pissed off when you don't hit when it makes no freakin difference at all

yeah those guys are scum bags trying to fool new or just ill informed gamblers. they have a video on their channel about baccarat, telling players to bet in a specific sequence with player and banker. then they have another video of roulette, telling players to bet the same specific sequence but with red and black. makes me sick to be honest.

The same logic here can be applied to playing poker professionally depending on the stakes one wants to play. The small difference is between the two is that if you at an ap, you may have to travel more frequently due to the casino most likely backing off an ap where poker is played amongst others instead of the against the house.

Yesterday in casino, I noticed that they used shuffling machines which you can’t guess how many decks are inside. And they restocked the played cards into the shuffling machine every three or four rounds. So, card counting may not be much effective anymore.

Yes, the app is $5 (USD). However, how bout you update the features of your app, like IDK.... build in these techniques? There isnt even a timer available to track your progress. How bout using some data and so you can compare your counting speed/accuracy vs other user? It's a shame you guys have abandoned improving the app.

This video proves a point related to another BJA video, re: tipping the dealer. Most dealers WANT you to win money. Tipping isnt ergo a "professional" decision. It's not a business decision.. It's a human one. Respect the fact most dealers, esp in America, make min or close to min wage. Tips make up their real, living wage. Just fkn tip em. Factor in tips to your EV. See it as the cost of doing business. (Then again, if you're one of those "slash jobs" types so stock price goes up people, well, dont be surprised if others give zero shits about you).

One of the biggest barriers to card counting is figuring out how many decks the dealer is using. If you ask them, they instantly know you're card counting. You gotta get really good at knowing what a deck of cards looks like.
